B-roll from Antarctica of preparations leading up to the drilling at the Whillians Ice Stream Subglacial Access Research Drilling Project (WISSARD) on the Ross Ice Shelf project is available by contacting Dena Headlee (dheadlee@nsf.gov / (703) 292-7739) or Peter West (pwest@nsf.gov/(703) 292-7530) at the National Science Foundation. NSF manages the U.S. Antarctic Program through which it coordinates all U.S. scientific research on the southernmost continent and in the Southern Ocean and provides the necessary logistical support to accomplish that science.
